Description

Asbestos Abatement Analytical Consultancy - Owen Building

The (separate) 'works contract' will involve the abatement of asbestos in 3Nr plant rooms within the Owen Building, with works being inclusive of asbestos abatement, removal of both electrical and mechanical plant, installations and associated supports, bases and the like, and builders work to make good generally. Some temporary works in maintaining existing systems and particularly fire alarms, BMS etc will be required. This will involve temporary and final connection works to specialist systems (fire, BMS, HV installations etc ) and some minor lighting installations.

The service to be carried out under this contract is for analytical services in connection with the asbestos abatement works detailed above being carried out by a separate contractor.

The University wishes to appoint a contractor to supply the above service.
