Description

NOTE: This notice was updated on 10 May 2016 for the following reason: Detail for bids updated.The working area is self-contained within the adjoining building to Tennal Grange, marked orange on the enclosed drawing. The building is a multipurpose user building with offices, conference room and Cadet HQ. Access to the working area is through the main double door to the front elevation.

You are to keep these clear at all times and the adjacent drill hall/gym to which the working area opens onto.

The gym is used daily mainly mornings, lunch times and evenings.

Working times are 8.30am - 4.30am any other times are grace and favor by our Caretaker contact details will be given on awarding tender.

Materials will be contained within the room whilst work is being carried out; you are to allow for protection to the existing floor covering.

You are to carry out a full risk and method statement after a pre-contract meeting.

Radios will not be allowed.

Fire assembly points and fire alarm procedures will be discussed ablutions on site can be used.

Other alarms in the building should not be affected by your building works but notification of vibrations must be notified to personnel within the building.

Core drilling within the boiler room is flagged up due to the main gas boiler adjacent, temporary dust sheet should be erected while this operation is taken place.

Vehicle parking will be allocated, as skip positioning during the pre-contract meeting.

You are to advise us as to the contract construction time, produce a programme of works.

You are to allow for possible attendance of RFCA IT contractors if necessary. There maybe a requirement to install cabling towards the end of the contract. You will be introduced to the RFCA IT contractors to elevate working area clashes.

You are to design LED lighting for office standard and arrange lights to furniture layout. (Furniture by others)

A contingency sum of £1000.00 is to be included for unseen works.
