Description

This procurement exercise relates to the provision of a benchtop mass spectrometer with MALDI-TOF technology for the sensitive, accurate and rapid analysis of nucleic acid samples (the system) to Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust (the Trust). The system will be delivered to Department of Molecular Pathology, North West London Pathology, Hammersmith Hospital, W12 OHS

The Supplier shall provide goods as follows:
• The system must utilise Maldi-Tof (matrix assisted laser desorption ionization-time of flight mass spectrometry) technology for the analysis of nucleic acid samples.
• The system must be compliant with requirements for ISO15189:2012 and have the ability to be used in a clinical diagnostic setting.
• The mass spectrometer must be bench top mounted. Overall size must not exceed H150cm x D70cm x W50cm.
• The system must by fully automated and provide real time data acquisition, data management and results analysis.
