Description

North East Derbyshire District Council is seeking Valuation Services to carry out a survey and prepare a report on its housing property when a Right to Buy (RTB) Application is received. NEDDC will undertake the majority of RTB valuations 'in-house' however, on occasions of high volumes or low capacity, NEDDC will seek services through this Request for Quotation (RFQ). If the decision is taken to outsource the whole of the RTB Valuations within the proposed contract period, then this will be done under this ITT.

The Council own a stock of around 8,000 properties of which approximately 60% are of non-traditional construction many being classed as defective properties under the Housing Act legislation. The properties are managed by the Council's ALMO, Rykneld Homes Ltd who will instruct NEDDC when a RTB valuation is required. The contract period will be four years and instructions will be on a property by property basis by way of a Purchase Order and in accordance with your RFQ submission.

NEDDC are a strategic partner of Bolsover District Council (BDC) and although there is no requirement at the moment, BDC may also instruct for RTB valuations under the terms of this RFQ.
