Description

Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust have appointed a contractor for the Replacement of the Freezer and associated works at Victoria Hospital, Deal, and Freezer and Chiller Replacements and associated works at Queen Victoria Memorial Hospital, Herne Bay.

The authority previously conducted an open procedure (below threshold) ITT process, which concluded in a failure to receive any suitable or complaint bids in relation to the advertised price cap and budget requirements. Due to the nature of this provision, this presents a risk to patients in relation to lack of available food and food storage on site etc, therefore the authority have proceeded with a contract award via a quotation process that is compliant in relation to the advertised price cap / budget and requirements from the previous ITT process.
