Description
The University has commenced a project aimed at digitising the Module Quality Continual Monitoring process. Discussions have centred on delivering a more efficient and effective method for completing module level quality monitoring. Current processes are completed using word documents edited in isolation and without a dedicated system/repository for the information.
Utilising digital work-flow models will improve the experience for the module leader, support tracking of the process for audit and compliance and improve accessibility to key information to support improvements in student outcomes.
The project will be looking to improve the following three areas:
1) Verification - review and approval by internal and external examiners
2) Moderation - calibration of the assessment/exam results
3) Self-evaluation - reflection at Module Leader level and identifying changes
The University would like to engage a third-party supplier to develop a bespoke Microsoft technology solution utilising current licensed Microsoft technologies - e.g., Microsoft Forms, Power Apps and SharePoint to create a bespoke University solution.
The third-party supplier/developer will be required to build and potentially support ongoing changes to the system and integration with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions.
We welcome responses from suppliers and companies who feel that they have positive ideas on how our vision can be delivered.
Please email your potential solution/s together with indicative costings no later than 12.00pm on the 17th February 2023 to s.selby@derby.ac.uk
