Description

Oxford City Council has sizable number of revenue streams in which payments are collected by telephone amongst other payment channels. These payments are made almost totally using debit / credit cards and so the card data is strictly governed by PCI DSS regulation. In keeping with this regulation Oxford City Council is looking to implement a new bureau like telephone payment collection system which masks any credit/ debit card details from the agent taking the call whilst keeping the call between agent and customer seamless. This should also result in no customer card data being transmitted or stored within the OCC network infrastructure and so de-scoping it from PCI-DSS.
