Description

St George's University of London (SGUL) is seeking to appoint suitably experienced supplier(s) to provide onsite consignment stock of life science research products for research and teaching under SGUL's Standard Terms and Conditions. Requirements will be under two separate lots: Chemicals and Molecular Biology. These lots will contain the following products: Restriction Enzymes, Kits, Tissue Culture Media and Chemicals. Tenderers can bid for individual lots or or both lots, but must clearly state which lot(s) they are applying for. Products are to be held on site and issued centrally through SGUL's Site Services to end users. The successful supplier(s) will be responsible for providing and maintaining all storage equipment. Consignment stock is to be replenished regularly to an agreed time-frame.

The key aims of this proposed procurement are to:

• Appoint suitably experienced supplier(s) to provide onsite consignment stock of life science research products for research and teaching.
• Ensure immediate accessibility and continuity of supply of highest grade and purity life science research products at a competitive rate.
• Ensure the provision of stock is fully flexible, meeting the changing requirements of SGUL's research community without incurring delivery charges.
Services to be provided by the successful supplier(s) must be fully operational from November 2016.
