Description

Ernest Harriss House will be the council's first full Community Hub in Westminster and we are looking for a supplier who will work with the Council and the community to co-create, finish and complete the fit-out. Our ambition is that this creates a welcoming, inclusive and creative space, encouraging participation, providing support and empowering communities with knowledge and skills.

We are appointing a supplier to work in a coordinated way with the Council's existing contractors, to work with residents to co-create the Ernest Harriss House Community Hub spaces to be handed over to an operator. This should include:

- A Community Hub set of spaces co-created with residents for the local community.
- A creative, inclusive and welcoming style, decoration and finishes throughout the building.
- Proposed furniture, fittings and storage solutions which support the planned uses and programming of the space.
- Proposed day to day layout plans for the operator.
- Support and advice for the incoming operator.
- Strengthened community ownership and ongoing involvement in the space.
