Description

The MCA wishes to purchase up to three Intrinsically Safe Hydraulic Power Packs. We may buy an additional three in the next financial year, dependent on budgetary constraints.

The Power Packs will be required to be intrinsically safe for operation in Zone 2 hazardous areas, complying with British and European Legislation. The Power Packs will need to be constructed of durable weather/salt water resistant materials and components, and be operable in the extremes of temperature foreseeable in the UK climate.

Unfortunately, no tenderer for this contract was able to meet our delivery deadline of 31 March 2018. The delivery date being critical to us, the MCA has decided to cancel the procurement without awarding a contract on this occasion.

Our current intention is to re-advertise for hydraulic power packs during the next financial year.
