Description

The purpose of this notice is to invite interested Suppliers to an engagement event in respect of the current live opportunity to apply to the Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for Skills Bootcamps.

This PIN is for market engagement for the DPS only. It does not signify the commencement of any call for competition process and does not constitute any commitment by the Department for Education.

The DPS launched on 21st November 2022 and will be running for a duration of up to 6 years with an indicative overall value of approximately £1.5bn. To be invited to call-off competitions for Skills Bootcamps, suppliers must first undergo the qualification process (SQ) as part of the DPS.

DPS categories align with IfATE's (Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education) 15 occupational maps, and Skills Bootcamps DPS call-off competitions would be run in some of these skills categories. DPS categories include, for example, business and administration; care services; construction; creative & design; digital; engineering & manufacturing; sales, marketing & procurement; transport & logistics (HGV).

The DfE would like to invite suppliers who have not yet qualified on to the DPS to attend this engagement event.
It will take place on Microsoft Teams on Monday 3rd April from 10:30am to 11:30am.

The event will aim to:
- Clarify the DPS Selection Questionnaire (SQ) process which has already been published
- Indicate some of the skills categories which may be procured in future.
- Encourage DPS applications to be submitted
- Provide an opportunity for Questions.
