Description

Newcastle University has been awarded a project grant by the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund (EMFF) for the acquisition of a Fourier-Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FT-IR) microscope. The apparatus will perform marine microplastic polymer identification to allow insight into microsplastic contamination and prevalence at the lowest level of the North Sea food chain and identify changes over time.
The scope of this contract is for the supply, delivery and installation of equipment and as detailed in the invitation to tender document, with after-sales support and 12 months warranty and maintenance.This opportunity is only being advertised to the Framework for High Value Spectroscopy Equipment, Associated Equipment, Accessories, Consumables, Maintenance and Servicing of Equipment.
