Description

Wigan Council is seeking a supplier of 7L or 5L Kitchen Caddies for residents to use in their own kitchen to store food waste prior to placing in the outside recycling bin.
It is envisaged that the initial contract will start on the 1st April 2023 for a period of one year with an option to extend for one year.
Wigan will require a continuous supply of Kitchen caddies, equating to approximately 120-130 caddies per week or 6,000-7,000 caddies per annum. The caddies will need to be delivered at least quarterly.
The majority of households that require a caddy in Wigan already have one, so they intend to be used for replacements, new requests and new build properties. There are approximately 1,000 new build properties coming on-line per year, but no major caddy roll out is intended.
