Description

Derbyshire County Council is inviting Tenders for the upgrade and all associated works of a traffic signalised junction located in the small village of Oakerthorpe, which lies in the parish of South Wingfield near to the town of Alfreton. The junction is situated on the A615 and B6013.

We are looking to appoint one Contractor/Supplier to carry out the works. The scope of the works will include:

• Site clearance
• All civils works
• Ducting - Derbyshire County Council have carried out a duct survey.
• Lining
• High Friction Surfacing
• Supply of all materials
• Provision of all temporary traffic management and relevant permits
• Supply, install and commissioning of all traffic signal equipment

The bidder will be appointed as Principle Contractor by the Client (Derbyshire County Council) for the duration of the scheme and will be required to plan, manage, monitor and coordinate the entire construction phase as per Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015.
