Description

The University wishes to appoint a Contractor or Contractors to supply an instrument that is capable of monitoring label free interactions of molecules using surfaces that can be modified ex-situ. The instrument will be used for molecular association studies with graphene coated surfaces, lipid bilayers and cells attached to coated surfaces ('chips'). The equipment is intended as an orthogonal approach to investigate molecular interactions to provide added benefit alongside our Q-Sense, BLI and Biacore T200 systems. We are not wishing to purchase replicas of the same type of analysis. The equipment will be located at the University of Manchester in the Biomolecular analysis core facility.
