Description

The University of Warwick has a requirement to purchase a benchtop NMR spectrometer that can support a range of experiments in our teaching laboratories and provide a simple introduction to hands-on NMR measurements (at least 1H and possibly other nuclei such as 13C, 31P and 19F) and interpretation of spectra to undergraduate and Masters' level students. Currently students can submit samples to our research facility for NMR analysis but this takes significant capacity on higher-end instruments and there is a delay of several days before results come back, so we are therefore seeking a benchtop NMR instrument specifically for educational use.
