Description

Housing Related Support service to young people aged 18 - 25 who have been unaccompanied asylum-seeking children (UASC) and are now former relevant care leavers seeking asylum. They may or may not have leave to remain. The service will initially deliver support to 5 young people living in a shared house.

The accommodation is owned by private landlords and will be managed by SG Homes who will oversee the property management including the tenancies.

The service will initially deliver 30 hours of flexible support per week over 7 days to start straight away with the option to increase to 60 hours of support per week within the life of the contract to support up to 11 young people.

The duration of the contract is for 1 years. The Council intends to award the contract in December 2024 with the new contract for the service expected to run from January 2025.
