Description

The National Blood Service (NBS) was established in 1993 as a Special Health Authority. Its prime task is to produce a consistent national service for the supply of blood and blood products to the National Health Service in England.

The NBS now forms part of NHS Blood and Transplant (NHSBT) and has 15 regional blood collection centres and approximately, a further 100 operating sites throughout England & North Wales. NBS is responsible for providing blood and blood components to all NHS hospitals and some of the private hospitals.

NHSBT are seeking a company to provide warranties on both the pumps and software for the 16 Merridale Fuel tanks they have spread over 12 of its sites in the UK.
