Purpose & Scope
? Sefton Metropolitan Borough Council has six Activate Fitness Suites.
? At present we have c.11, 000 fitness members.
? We are seeking to attract and retain a further 2,300 members by 31st April 2016.
? We are also seeking to improve our systems and approach to fitness membership sales and retention.
SMBC are therefore seeking proposals from external agencies that are able to provide additional sales staff, staff training and specialist sales and retention support.
Exact targets will be set and reviewed regularly following the completion of latent demand surveys by the appointed partner.
The initial contract will be until the 31st April 2016 at which point the partnership will be reviewed. It is anticipated that the successful partner will retain a % of the sales generated, however we also recognise that set up costs may also be required. The successful partner will be able to provide the level of support required to generate the desired targets for the lowest cost / commission.
