HMRC utilises annual car sales data to support effective modelling of car related taxes and requires a contractor to provide car data on an annual basis and car-related consultancy on an ad hoc basis, up to 2 days per year.

Required car data comprises of a series of records by car make and model, including total car sales of that model to companies and private individuals, list price, CO2 emissions and fuel consumption.

Consultancy services may include research/consultancy on knowledge of car sales and/or future industry developments.
