Description
Birmingham City Council requires a supplier for the supply and delivery of shipping containers to a number of sites across Birmingham. This is for supply of ISO shipping containers of various sizes for a variety of storage / usage options for both Big Birmingham Bikes (BBB) and the wider Wellbeing Service.
The option to include some bespoke fittings (for example the bike hanging hooks that were used in BBB phase 1) as well as other possible options should be considered.
This contract will be for a period of 1 year commencing in 1st June 2017 until 31st May 2018 with an option to extend for a further 12 months subject to satisfactory performance.
The successful tenderer will be required to:
a) Provide up to 12 shipping containers to the specification set out in the table below.
b) Deliver the containers to each of the sites listed in the table below.
c) Ensure that the containers are positioned in the specified location in a safe and secure condition
