Description
West Northamptonshire Council (WNC) is a new Unitary authority that came into existence on Thursday, 1st April 2021 following the Northamptonshire Structural Changes Order 2019. This Expression of Interest (EOI) aims to inform the market of a potential opportunity and gather feedback regarding the requirement stated below:
WNC is seeking a Drug and Alcohol Workforce Service that will provide support, training, and professional development opportunities for professionals working in the field of drug and alcohol addiction. The service should enhance the skills, knowledge, and capacity of the workforce to deliver high-quality interventions and support to individuals and families affected by addiction.
Provide a detailed description of the services to be offered, such as workforce training, professional development programmes, mentoring, and consultation services.
Highlight the importance of evidence-based practices, best practices, and the latest research in the field of drug and alcohol addiction.
Demonstrate your organisation's experience in delivering workforce development programmes and support services for professionals in the addiction field.
Showcase the qualifications and expertise of your staff members in addiction counselling, training, and related fields.
Outline the range of training programmes and workshops that will be offered to enhance the skills and knowledge of professionals.
Emphasise the focus on evidence-based interventions, assessment tools and emerging trends in addiction treatment.
Describe how your service will provide supervision and consultation services to professionals, offering guidance, support, and expertise in challenging cases or complex situations.
Explain how your service will establish collaborations with other agencies, organisations, and experts in the addiction field.
Describe your approach to quality assurance in delivering workforce services, ensuring adherence to best practices, professional standards, and ethical guidelines.
Explain your evaluation processes to monitor the effectiveness and impact of the training and support provided.
Highlight your commitment to ensuring accessibility and inclusivity in delivering workforce training services, including considerations for diverse professionals, geographical areas, and service settings.
Describe any accommodations or adaptations you provide to support professionals with specific needs or challenges.
Demonstrate your commitment to compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and safeguarding requirements.
Estimated annual value of £155,000. This is an estimate and may change.
