Description

Leicester City Council requires a vehicle removal/storage service to include: The 24/7 x 365 days vehicle removal service for light vehicles, (under 3500kg), heavy vehicles (over 3500kg). Secure storage of the vehicles. Administration of removed vehicles including full audit trail from removal to disposal. Provision of a reception facility for owners collecting their vehicles. The collection of charges from vehicle owners on behalf of the City Council. Vehicles removed will either be because of illegal parking when vehicle removal charges payable by the owner are statutory charges set by Government, or vehicles removed by request of the City Council when removal and any storage will be at the Council's expense and paid at a rate in line with industry norms. Vehicle storage and collection facilities must be located within 5 miles by road of Leicester Town Hall.
