Description

BBC Children in Need is seeking to procure an Online Donation Platform, a detailed specification is set out in Section C - Specification of Requirement.
BBC CiN requires a supplier to develop and host an online donation platform which will receive payments from donors and fundraisers year-round.
The platform will be live throughout the year, with the main promotion during the Appeal Night of TV, which drives tens of thousands of donations through the page on the Friday and the following weekend, in a pattern of peaks and troughs relative to the broadcast content.
The platform receives additional promotion on special programmes outside of the main Appeal Show (such as The One Show Challenge Squad, Countryfile Ramble, etc.) which require continual monitoring.
The Supplier will make available appropriate staff for set-up, testing, technical support, responding to BBC CiN queries, post-show reviews, and any other assistance that is required.
The platform will go live on 1st October 2025 and remain live until the contract ends on 30th June 2028, with the potential to be extended up to three times, each for a twelve month period.
Estimated value is based on the maximum contract term of 6 years.
The contract will have a term of approximately 3 years commencing on 6th June 2025 and ending on 30th June 2028.
The contract may be extended at BBC CiN 's discretion by up to a further three years, in 12 month increments. If BBC CiN wishes to exercise this option, it will give written notice to the successful provider no later than 3 months prior to the end of the then current term.
