Description
Roblox is a free-to-play online game platform and game creation system, which allows users to program games and play games created by other users. With 70.2 million daily active users, it is hugely popular with our younger audiences and provides powerful opportunities for BBC Bitesize to grow brand awareness and audience reach.
We believe that establishing an official Roblox presence and producing content on the platform is a necessary and valuable step to take in order to stay relevant, reach a new generation of digitally savvy children, and to allow our audiences to engage and interact in new ways.
BBC Bitesize's objective for this game is to introduce Bitesize to a global Roblox audience as a trusted educational brand by developing an experience which supports geography learning through gameplay. We particularly want to reach 11-14-year-olds in the UK and the US. We want to adapt the existing BBC Bitesize Planet Planners game for the Roblox platform.
