Description

The Department for Transport (DfT) invites tenders for the replacement of the emergency back-up generator at the International Maritime Organization, London. The particulars of the requirement are as follows.
• Site location: International Maritime Organization, 4 Albert Embankment, Lambeth, London, SE1 7SR
• Nature and objectives of the works : Make safe, decommission, disconnect and complete the removal and disposal of the existing generator set and its associated components. Subsequently, complete the installation of a replacement generator including associated ventilation, electrical, fire detection, fire suppression, demolition, construction works testing and commissioning. The project is to be delivered within time and within budget.
• Construction estimate: £400k
• Issue of pricing information: Thurs 25 May 17
• Construction period: 4th Sept - 13th October 2017
