Description

The scope is to plasma cut approximately 6746 starter bars (final figure to be specified by the Contractor).
There are 300 contiguous piles within Euston Scissor Box which will be exposed at base slab level. The Contractor expects the starter bars for these piles will need to be trimmed to avoid clashes with base slab reinforcement.

ESB Portal: 68 piles (PBS001-068) - 18 no. with plunge columns

Pile cage Type K & L: Each pile has 28 B40 starter bars - Total 1904 starter bars

ESB North & South: 200 piles (PBS101-300)

21 piles in Attenuation Tank Area - 4 no. with plunge columns

Pile cage Type P: Each pile has 26 B50 starter bars - Total 546 starter bars

179 piles in North & South ESB - 39 no. with plunge columns

Pile cage Type M & N: Each pile has 24 B50 starter bars - Total 4296 starter bars

There is approximately 264 lin m of Type U sheet piles within Euston Scissor Box which will either need to be plasma cut or have extensions welded to them to aid the removal of the sheets.
