Description

NHS London Procurement Partnership as lead contract authority on behalf of the workforce alliance, are preparing to develop a new framework to replace the soon to expire RM6161 Clinical Staffing Framework agreement. The current framework has a lotting structure breakdown by staff group, Lot 1 - Nursing and Midwifery, Lot 2 - Medical and Dentistry, Lot 3 - Allied Health Professionals & Health Science Services, Lot 4 - Emergency Services, Lot 5 - Social Care Staffing, Lot 6 - Neutral Vendor.

NHS LPP are looking for input from clinical temporary staffing suppliers to inform their new framework to ensure fitness for purpose. In addition to registering for the webinar being held on 31st October (details for registration can be found in section 'Description of the procurement', above), we would appreciate if you can respond to the following questions:

1. What are the latest innovations in temporary staffing that you feel should be reflected in the specification for these services to add value for participating authorities?
2. What key outstanding issues do you think we should address in the next iteration of the Clinical Staffing Framework
3. In the case of direct engagement - is it more common for your organisation to supply staff and use an existing customer IT platform or supply staff with a technology IT platform hosted by your organisation?
4. In the next framework, we are considering adding an additional lot for smaller, niche staffing areas such as substance misuse, CAMHS etc. Are there any additional staffing roles you think we should consider for this lot?
5. As you may be aware, there is a requirement for NHS tenders to include Social Value as a selection criterion, can you provide details on your Social Value capabilities so that we can include this in the next framework?
6. Do you have any additional comments/ suggestions for the new Clinical Staffing Framework?

***Please respond with your answers through Atamis messaging portal by 31st October, 2022
