Description

The London Borough of Merton ("the Council") is inviting tenders for delivering the Merton Adult Learning Main Service Contract of Adult Learning following the rules set out in the Procurement Act 2023 and subsequent Regulations ("the Act").

The procurement requirements encompass the priorities of Merton including maintaining excellent education and skills, and promoting a dynamic, connected, and inclusive community and economy and as part of South London Partnership (SLP) the implementation of the London Growth Plan.
The Mayor of London, in collaboration with London Councils, has committed to implementing a new London Growth Plan, which was published in 2025. The plan outlines the strategies for driving sustainable and inclusive economic growth across the capital. Key objectives include creating jobs, increasing wages, improving living standards for Londoners, and achieving a net-zero carbon footprint.
