Description

Background:

The Money and Pensions Service (MaPS) is an arms length body of the Department of Works and Pension (DWP).

It has brought together the Money Advice Service, The Pensions Advisory Service and Pension Wise.

• We are funded through levies on the financial services industry
• We give free, unbiased money and pensions guidance to help people make informed choices.
• For people facing unmanageable debt, we help them access free, high-quality debt advice

Opportunity:

This is a prior information notice with future call for competition and its purpose is to make the market aware of the MaPS commissioning intentions.

MaPS are seeking to competitively tender an opportunity for an Open Banking and Credit Reference Agency (CRA) Learning Partner to provide insight for our Pilot on Adviser Capacity and Efficiency (PACE). Through the test and learn phases of PACE we will be going through a series of proof of concept outside of the live customer environments and then UAT environments.

The Potential Provider would be required to assist MaPS and our partners in the Debt Sector, with our learning objectives in the thematic areas of customer, data, compatibility, thought leadership and functionality. To further give guidance on legislative requirements, test routes to integrate with our systems and provide environments for customer trails.

It is a pre requisite that the Potential Providers have CRA and Open Banking systems in place at the time of the call for competition. The indicative Tender value will be Circa £50k to £75k.

The service will be commissioned via an open procurement process, advertised to all providers. The formal call for competition will be published on Contracts Finder and be competed through the MaPS e-sourcing Bravo Portal.
