Description

GLA ESF Homelessness and Ex-Offender Programmes

The Greater London Authority (GLA) with funding from the European Social Fund (ESF) are intending to commission three contracts to support ex-offenders and homeless people within Greater London. There will be one project for ex-offenders (Pan-London) and two projects for Homelessness (two London sub-regions).

The services will be for people who are unemployed or economically inactive, and are also an ex-offender or homeless person. The aim of the programme is to move individuals into 6-month sustained work. Elements include:

Individual 1:1 support throughout the journey, including in-work support
Skills training: vocational, digital skills and basic skills
Work Preparation: including 100 hours' work placement
Soft outcomes: measuring distance travelled for each participant
The tenders for these programmes are due to be released on from the end of October.

The contract will start in April 2020 and will end in July 2023, including all sustainment outcomes to be achieved by this date.

Reed in Partnership is seeking organisations who are able to support the target groups on an end-to-end and specialist intervention basis.
