Description

1. BACKGROUND

1.1 Thorne-Moorends Town Council wishes to draw your attention to an exciting opportunity to run a café situated within Thorne Memorial Park, Doncaster.

1.2 Thorne Memorial Park and its adjoining walled gardens are a site of about six acres which lay at the heart of Thorne in Doncaster.

1.3 The park and gardens are of local historic interest; surrounding a pond with lots of beautiful scenery and wildlife, featuring a play park, playing field, miniature steam railway, a Grade II listed Crimean War memorial pump, cenotaph and a bandstand, which is the scene of brass band concerts in the summer.

1.4 The Park hosts several events throughout the year including a Remembrance Sunday Service and Summer Festival.

1.5 The park has recently received an upgraded playpark bringing more footfall to the area, further investments are planned for the Memorial Park over the coming months and years.

2. TENDER EVALUATION AND AWARD CRITERIA

3 - Meets requirements. Adequate relevant detail provides a comprehensive response demonstrating fully how requirements will be met.
4 - Exceeds requirements. A comprehensive response which meets all requirements and offers some added value.
