Description

Northumberland County Council is currently preparing a Concession Contract tender pack which will be published via our online portal and advertised. The aim is to secure a long-term operating partner to undertake the running of the new community facility being designed for Wansbeck Square. The appointed operator will be offered an initial 5 year concession contract, subject to renewal by the council for two further terms of 5 years.
The appointed operator will be responsible for meeting facility running and maintenance costs and providing a range of youth, training and cultural services for the local community and at nil cost to the council. The tender process is anticipated to commence in August 2024 with award of contract by October.

The purpose of this market questionnaire is to provide potential contractors with an overview of the service requirements in advance of tendering the opportunity in August 2024, and to invite contractor views on the proposed service via a series of questions.
