Description
This service aims to support families at a Family help level in order to improve outcomes for children and young people aged 0-19 years living in the Children's Services district of Eden.
The Provider shall deliver services to satisfy the following outcomes:
Children and young people are supported to access services at the point of need and are protected from harm, isolation, bullying and social exclusion.
Fewer children and young people require statutory intervention.
children and young people supported to develop skills and knowledge to improve their life chances.
Parents / carers supported to understand child development and develop confidence in their parenting.
Families have positive, successful relationships within the family unit and community.
Children and young people supported to have improved behaviour, self-esteem, health and well-being.
More families have access and engage positively in a range of high-quality services within their local area.

To achieve this, the Provider shall deliver:
A peer-to-peer family help model that delivers home based support and practical help to families who are experiencing difficulties.
A robust volunteer programme with a robust supervision model and training plan.
A range of interventions and Evidence based parenting programmes designed to help parents / carers of children and young people who have identified unmet needs.
