Description

The University has a requirement and would like to procure the following:-

LOT 1: Robot Technology Demonstrator
Quoted Systems Should address:
o A single 6 axis robot portable self-contained demonstration cell
o Capability to be run form a standard 3 pin power outlet (single phase 240V)
o Contain all services required to run demonstrations

LOT 2: Authority Robotic Automation Line
Quoted Systems Should address:

The requirement is for a multi robot automated production line that will be capable of demonstrating automated production of a product/example of the supplier's choice that requires a range of different tasks to be performed by robots at multiple cells/stations. The requirement is to supply a system that is open, flexible, SME friendly, and suitable for knowledge transfer on advanced and flexible manufacture to a range of SME manufacturers in the North East using the most common applications encountered in industry as a demonstration automated line. This is not to be a production facility but should demonstrate the assembly of a particular item of the suppliers' choice and should come equipped with adequate materials to run the line in automatic production mode for an extended period (30 minutes' production) (manual stock replenishment permitted to demonstrate other lean principles such as Kanban etc.).
