Description

The University of Birmingham has established an integrated Research Computing environment known as BEAR (Birmingham Environment for Academic Research) with a set of interrelated services to support many aspects of the research process. The University also operates Baskerville, the UKRI funded Tier2 Accelerated Compute Service, and is one of the partners, hosting and operating the MRC funded CLIMB-BIG-DATA (Cloud Infrastructure for Microbial Bioinformatics). In addition, research groups and schools may run services locally.
