The goal of this project is to build on previous projects and experience gained elsewhere in the Caribbean and South Atlantic Territories, to provide BVI with a self-sufficient, secure data management system and geospatial data hub for environmental spatial data. The work will be delivered in phases and the focus of this first phase contract is on data management fundamentals, standards and data flows and to provide an expanded datasets inventory and metadata catalogue that will support the creation of a centralised data hub and the general vision outlined in previous work.
