Description

The Cavendish Dock Road Junction Improvements project aims to provide an upgraded fit for purpose right turn priority junction to the southwest of the Marina Village site, connecting Cavendish Dock Road to Strand / Salthouse Road. A detailed design for the project has been developed in order to gain a greater assurance of project deliverability, risks and costings. Some of the main works required include a new right turn priority lane, junction realignment, adjustments to adjacent car park as well as provision for a proposed seating and planting area. Westmorland and Furness Council (the Client) will commission the Works in one Stage: Construction, administered under an NEC4 Engineering Construction Contract.
