Description

The Targeted Youth Service has received project funding from the England European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme 2014-2020 (2.1 Skills for Growth - Access to Lifelong Learning). The Department for Work and Pensions are the managing authorities for ESF funding through the Growth Programme. The project will run between September 21 and December 23.
The projects main remit is to ensure children and young people effected by criminal exploitation (CE) remain included and engaged in education training and employment (ETE) as this is a key factor in reducing risk and increasing life chances.
Across Norfolk County we are keen to hear from organisations with expertise in delivering services within the following pathways:
• Planned Group activities for YPs with educational/emotional/behavioural support needs to reduce vulnerability (e.g.: holiday workshops/programmes)
• Planned Life skills/employability support for young people in recovery from substance misuse/gang behaviors, particularly those with experience of delivering services to young people aged 19-25
• Planned Trauma support - sexual violence, sexual exploitation, coercion (specialised support for SEND, female and BAME)

Norfolk is keen to work with multiple voluntary sector services that can demonstrate expertise in delivering tailored support relating to specific areas of need as above. The maximum amount that can be granted to an organisation is £20,000 (excluding VAT)

Please do contact us if you are interested as soon as possible so that you can access the expression of interest form.
