Description

South Tyneside Council are seeking a contractor for Jarrow Business Centre, Building Alterations
Situated in the bustling Viking Business Park, close to the local town of Jarrow, the centre is just minutes' drive from the A19. With over 50 offices of various sizes, Jarrow Business Centre accommodates an IT consultancy, security services and utilities management businesses to name a few. There are also light assembly units and manufacturing units on site.
The proposed project shall be to refurbish 700m2 of general industrial commercial space and a further 120m2 of ancillary office space at Jarrow Business Centre to create 6 advanced manufacturing units. Works shall comprise of, but is not limited to, demolition and clearance of existing walls, services and the creation of openings; construction of new walls, services and finishes; new doors, external works and signage.
