Description
Actual CPV code is '75211200 Foreign Economic-Aid Related Services'.
In order to maximise the benefits of economic development for poor women and men more research is needed to identify the opportunities and challenges that different pathways of agricultural commercialisation offer for poverty reduction, women's empowerment and improved nutrition in different contexts. Without better evidence on what works for women in particular and poor people in general there is a risk that that these policies will at best provide few benefits and at worst have a negative impact on their livelihoods and nutrition. This research will address these evidence gaps through undertaking in-depth research, analysis and dissemination on the impact of ongoing processes of commercialisation in African agriculture.
