Description

Maintenance and installation of road lighting & illuminated traffic signs in the City of Bristol. The council owns & manages some 34 000 street lights (over 20 000 having been replaced in recent years) & 15 000 other traffic equipment (e.g illuminated signs, bollards and pedestrian crossings), using a reactive maintenance policy. Pre-planned programmed works are also used on an individual scheme basis. Emergency cover is also needed from 17:00 to 08:00 (Monday-Friday) and 24 hours during the weekends.
