Description

The Norfolk Continuing Care Partnership is an operational unit of NHS Norwich Clinical Commissioning Group, providing services to NHS Norwich, NHS West Norfolk, NHS South Norfolk and NHS North Norfolk Clinical Commissioning Groups.
NHS Arden and Greater East Midlands Commissioning Support Unit (NHS AGCSU) on behalf of The Norfolk Continuing Care Partnership is looking for a fast track CHC service involving purchasing nursing homes beds and domiciliary care rounds for the following lots:
Lot 1: 1x care home bed, West Norfolk; Lot 2:1x care home bed, North Norfolk; Lot 3-6: 4x care home beds, Norwich (maximum 2 beds per home); Lot 7-8: 2x care home beds, South Norfolk (maximum 1 bed per home) (Note: Commissioners require the homes in this location to be within 18 miles, by road, of the Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital).

Lot 9: 2x Care Rounds, North Norfolk; Lot 10: 1x Care Round, Norwich; Lot 11: 1x Care Round, South Norfolk
NHS Arden and GEM CSU is managing this Procurement in accordance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (as amended) (the "Regulations"). The services being procured are Schedule 3 Services and NHS Arden and GEM CSU and the commissioner it represents are bound only by those parts of the Regulations applying to the procurement of these services commonly referred to as the Light Touch Regime (LTR). Whilst the procurement process is being referred to as an open process, Schedule 3 of the Regulations provides the commissioner with the flexibility to define its own process as long as it complies with the provisions of Regulations 74-76 (inclusive) of the Regulations
