Description

Whitlingham Country Park, widely referred to as the gateway to the Broads National Park, is a 35-hectare complex which sits just southeast of Norwich near the village of Trowse.
The Broads Authority leases the flint barn from Whitlingham Charitable Trust for use as a café and Visitor Information Centre. The café has been run as a successful business since 2006 and the Broads Authority is now inviting bids to refurbish and operate the catering concession along with an associated cleaning contract for the barn. The Broads Authority is offering a minimum five contract. There is potential to offer a longer contract of ten years depending on the lease arrangement for the Barn which is currently being negotiated.
