Description

A strategic review of extra care and older people's housing was undertaken last year following which a commissioning strategy was developed to procure a framework agreement for providers of extra care schemes. This exercise has recently completed and the framework will be awarded imminently. A review of Harrogate Court is currently being undertaken and an extension is required to enable the review to conclude and the recommendations implemented, using the pending framework as the procurement vehicle should the outcome of the service review deem this an appropriate way forward.It is therefore recommended that this waiver is approved for the direct award of a two-year contract to Chevin Housing Association.
