Description
Derby City Council (the Council) is undertaking this procurement to establish a contract for Substance Misuse Point of Care Testing (POCT) Devices and Associated Laboratory Screening.
The requirement of this contract is to supply high quality, cost effective Substance Misuse Point of Care Testing (POCT) Devices. This will be done in the context of Derby's geography, population profile and the Integrated Drug and Alcohol Recovery System. The successful bidder will be responsible for providing these goods and liaising closely with the substance misuse treatment provider and the commissioner within Public Health.
Implementation - It is anticipated that there will be a training requirement for the end users of the goods and services provided by the successful bidder of this contract, this should take place as part of the implementation period - before the contract start date of 1st April 2022. The implementation period will be agreed between the successful provider and the commissioner after the contract has been awarded.
Please note suppliers wishing to express interest and obtain the documentation must do so by 11.30pm on 7th October 2021. It is recommended that you express interest and obtain the documentation well before this time to allow sufficient time to prepare and submit a bid.
