Description
Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA) in partnership with its constituent authorities and Greater Manchester Health and Social Care Partnership (GM HSCP) are commissioning a new Working Well service designed to support people furthest from the labour market to find work.
The Working Well Specialist Employment Service comprises Supported Employment for people with a learning disability and/or autistic people and Individual Placement and Support (IPS) for people with severe mental illness. Both supported employment and IPS are evidence based service models that support people with complex disabilities and health needs access and sustain paid work in the open labour market - that is real jobs.
The initial contract period is from 1st January 2020 to 31st March 2023. There is provision to extend the contract for two x 12 month periods subject to funding and service performance.
