Description

Weed spraying is to take place on the public highway which includes 580km of wall heels, footpath tops, kerbs and channels plus 42.5km urban and rural alleys and service roads. In total the length of highway to be covered by each application is 622.5km. Spraying is to include any weeds on central reservations/road islands. Three applications should be made annually (usually between March and September).

Instructions to Suppliers: Bidders are to please note that The Council's e-procurement system, Pro
Contract, is due to be upgraded to version 3 in November. A Go Live date for
the new version has been set for 16 November 2015. All projects (live, awarded
and archived) will be re-created in the v.3 system. Please note, the system
will be unavailable between the 13th and 16th November to allow for data
migration. Please be aware that these dates have been put into considerations
while planning timetables for this procurements. Therefore the Council does not
plan to do further extension as a result of the non availability of the system
for these four days.

Version 3 maintains the same functionality as the current system, but with a
more streamlined user interface.
