Description

The London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham are conducting a tender process to deliver a Community Champions Project in the Fulham Reach ward. The project will run for five years, has a value in the region of £225,000 to £250,000, and will be delivered across the Bayonne and Field Road (Margravine) Estates.

The aim of the project is to develop the capacity of local people and services to promote health and wellbeing and reduce inequalities, by recruiting local people to train as Community Champion volunteers.

The key objectives of the project and the work of the Champions' are to gather local community insight, increase knowledge of and access to services to improve health and wellbeing, and to build social capital and community cohesion.
