The purpose of this service is to provide a whole school improvement/training programme designed for school leaders, to provide them with the necessary tools to overcome barriers such as lower prior attainment and improve outcomes for those disadvantaged particularly by poverty
This service aims to support school leaders across 120 participating schools in the North of Tyne Newcastle Northumberland and North Tyneside over time aiming to support these schools to reduce the disadvantage gaps the difference in attainment between disadvantaged pupils and their peers
